Meet Heen – A Special Boy Looking for a Patient & Understanding Home
Heen is a 4-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix with a heart full of potential. He loves other dogs and enjoys their company, but when it comes to people, he’s still learning to trust. This special boy needs an experienced and patient adopter who can provide him with a safe, structured environment where he can build confidence at his own pace.
Heen is very anxious and nervous around humans, preferring the comfort of his crate where he feels secure. He’s not ready for physical affection just yet, but with time and the right approach, he has the potential to grow into a more confident companion.
Heen would do best in a quiet, patient home with someone experienced in working with anxious dogs. A secure space where he can feel safe without pressure to interact is essential, and having a confident dog sibling could help him feel more at ease. His perfect home is one that understands his need for patience, allowing him to open up in his own time and providing him with gentle encouragement as he learns to trust. His adopter should be committed to slow introductions and positive reinforcement to help him gain confidence at his own pace.
