About me
Lorax is a stunning big boy who is on a heartwarming journey towards trust and companionship. This beautiful boy emerged from a rough start on the streets, where an observant and caring neighbour noticed his plight and alerted our team to help him. With some time, love, and tender care, Lorax is beginning to realise that a life filled with warmth and kindness is possible.
Though he remains shy and cautious, Lorax has started to slowly embrace the positive aspects of human interaction. Each day, he becomes more curious and opens his heart to the potential of loving relationships. This gentle soul requires a patient and understanding family, one that appreciates the importance of a nurturing environment where he can continue his journey to wholeness.
Lorax's ideal home is one filled with calmness, stability, and patience—all qualities that will help him blossom. An indoor-only lifestyle is best for him to maintain his safety and build trust with his new companions. He seeks a special family that sees him for who he truly is—a beautiful spirit ready to thrive with the right guidance and love.
If you have the love and dedication to offer Lorax the tender care he needs, you could be the magical element in his transformation. In return, he promises to fill your life with the quiet joy and gratitude of a once shy boy learning to trust and love.

Medical conditions
Lorax has tested positive to Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), which might sound scary, but it truly isn't. It just means Lorax has a slightly weaker immune system, so if they get a sniffle, it's better to take them straight to the vet rather than adopting a 'wait and see' approach. Lorax can live happily with other cats that do not have FIV, therefore there is very minimal risk to any of the other cats in the household.
There is a lot of misinformation about FIV, so please visit our website for more information before ruling out this sweet kitty: https://www.strongheartscats.com/fiv-cats
