Medical conditions
Lemon Crisp has Cerebellar Hyperplasia.
Cerebellar hyperplasia, also known as "wobbly cat syndrome," is a condition that affects a Lemon Crisp's balance and coordination. It happens because part of the brain doesn't develop normally. This part of the brain helps control movement, so cats like Lemon Crisp with cerebellar hyperplasia may have a wobbly or unsteady gait, making them look like they're stumbling or off balance.
Despite this, the condition doesn't cause Lemon Crisp any pain, and he can lead happy, active life. Lemon Crisp just might move a bit more slowly or differently than other cats, but it doesn’t stop him from playing, cuddling, or being their sweet, affectionate selves!
Lemon Crisp should have regular veterinary check-ups (at least twice a year), and you should seek veterinary advice promptly if you notice any changes in Lemon Crisp's health or behaviour.
