Meet Sarafina & Milele 🦙🦙

Sarafina and Milele are two beautiful female alpacas searching for a loving home where they can enjoy the care and comfort they have always deserved.

The girls were part of a group of 12 alpacas seized by council after it was determined that the property they were living on was only permitted to keep two. When they arrived at Strong Hearts, they were in a neglected state, suffering from urine burn, severely overgrown and twisted nails, and heavy matting around their hindquarters that had become so severe they could no longer lift their tails properly to urinate.

Thankfully, those difficult days are now behind them. With plenty of care, patience, and veterinary attention, Sarafina and Milele have transformed into healthy, happy alpacas who are ready to find their forever family.

These girls are wonderfully curious and full of personality. They're always eager to see what's happening around them and are often among the first to come trotting over to the fence line when visitors arrive. They happily take treats from your hand and have the gentle, inquisitive nature that makes alpacas such rewarding companions.

Sarafina and Milele are up to date with worming, vaccinations, vitamin A, E and D supplementation (essential for alpaca health), lice and mite treatments, and regular nail trims.

After overcoming so much, these lovely girls are ready to start a new chapter surrounded by kindness, good care, and plenty of alpaca friends. We can't wait to see them thrive in a home that will cherish them for the rest of their lives.

**Please note:** We do not adopt alpacas as herd guardians. Care must also be taken when grazing alpacas alongside sheep or goats due to shared parasites and associated health risks.
