Meet Rapidash, Spider & Bumble 🐑🐑🐑

Rapidash, Spider and Bumble are a special little flock looking for a patient and compassionate home where they can continue learning that the world is a safe place.

These three came into our care from a heartbreaking situation involving a backyard butcher who was carrying out illegal slaughter on his property. The sheep rescued from the property had experienced significant trauma, and it has taken a long time for them to begin trusting people again.

While we can't be certain of their family connections, we suspect that Bumble is Spider's mum, and Rapidash may even be his dad. Whatever their exact relationship, the trio share a close bond and take great comfort in one another's company.

When they first arrived, the idea of approaching a human was simply out of the question. Through patience, consistency, and plenty of treats, they have come such a long way. Today, all three will happily eat from your hand and eagerly anticipate snack time. However, adopters should understand that moving to a new home can be unsettling for sheep who have experienced trauma and they may initially become more cautious while they adjust to unfamiliar surroundings.

Rapidash is impossible to miss. With his impressive horns and commanding presence, he looks every bit the mighty ram. But don't let appearances fool you - he's an absolute gentleman with a gentle nature and a soft heart. Bumble is a quiet, steady presence within the group, while Spider's growing confidence is a joy to watch as he learns from the sheep around him.

These three would thrive in a home where their new family is willing to spend quiet time sitting with them, offering treats, and allowing trust to develop naturally.

Both boys have been castrated, and all three are up to date with vaccinations, worming, lice treatments, and hoof trims.

**Please note:** Sheep require access to appropriate grazing, comfortable shelter from the elements, and may need supplementary hay during colder months when pasture growth is reduced.
