About me
Maeve arrived as a very sick, dehydrated ewe who had lost her lamb during labour. When she arrived, she was very close to death but like many downed ewes before her, she kept fighting and made a full recovery.
She was still full of fear for such a long time but now she's realising that we're not so bad! She now comes running over for treats with her ears pricked so far forward, we wonder how she doesn't cover up her eyes with her own ears!
She's still wary with fast movements, but gentle coaxing and an outstretched hand is all it takes to get her feeling brave enough to approach!
Maeve needs to be adopted with a buddy or two to help her feel safe in a new environment even if you already have existing sheep - travelling to a new home on her own will be too scary!
She is up to date with worming, vaccinating, lice treatment, hoof trims and was shorn in November.
We can assist with transport throughout Victoria!
