Meet Honey & Bee 🐐🐐

Honey and her daughter Bee are a beautiful bonded mother-and-daughter pair looking for a patient and understanding home where they can continue building confidence together.

Honey came into our care after being rescued while heavily pregnant. Not long after arriving at the sanctuary, she gave birth to little Bee, who is now around six weeks old. Bee has never known life outside the sanctuary and has had the best start thanks to her devoted mum.

Honey is still a cautious girl and prefers to observe people from a safe distance before deciding if they're worth trusting. While she's not quite as wary as some of our spookiest goats, she appreciates people who are happy to let her move at her own pace. Over time, she has become increasingly curious and has recently started tentatively taking treats from our hands - a wonderful milestone that shows just how far she's come.

Bee is already showing a little more confidence than her mum. As a typical young kid, she's inquisitive and playful, and while she's still learning that people can be trusted, she's growing more comfortable every day. She often takes her cues from Honey, making it lovely to watch the pair encourage each other as they continue to build their confidence.

As rangeland goats, Honey and Bee will need a home with excellent fencing. Goats are clever, athletic animals and secure fencing is essential to keep them safe. They'll also need plenty of shelter from the weather, access to roughage and browse and adopters who understand that trust is earned through patience and consistency.

Both Honey and Bee will be adopted with all age-appropriate preventative care completed and will be ready to begin their next chapter together. They will need to join a home with other friendly goats, or be adopted alongside some of their sanctuary friends, to help them feel safe and settled.

Please note: Goats require secure fencing, reliable shelter from the elements (they absolutely hate rain!), and access to plenty of roughage and browse to keep them healthy and happy.
If Honey is noticeably friendlier than this version suggests, or if Bee is already confidently approaching people, I can also make the pair sound a little more outgoing while still being realistic.
