Flash - 4-5 year old gelding, light grey
Archie - 3-4 year old gelding, traditional grey with jeruselam stripe
Flash and Archie came together from a deceased estate as unhandled, nervous donkeys who had never had hoof care - or any care at all!
It has taken a long time to correct their overgrown feet and get them comfortable around us but these two are now blossoming into curious boys who want to learn!
These boys are up to date with worming and have been on regular and consistent 6-8 week hoof trims. They can still be unsure of lifting their feet but with confident handling can easily be tended to by their farrier. They have both seen an equine dentist to have their ages estimated and first dental ever! Both have no dental issues and behaved beautifully.
They are looking for a home together where they can continue to learn, grow and be consistently handled and of course, spoilt rotten! Donkeys are incredibly social and must be adopted with donkey companions. We do not adopt donkeys out to be herd guardians.
