Meet Fable, Phineas & Ditto 🐐🐐🐐

Fable and her twins, Phineas and Ditto, are a charming little family looking for a special home where they can continue building their confidence and enjoying life together.

Fable came into our care after being picked up by a ranger and taken to the pound alongside five other goats. Not long after arriving at Strong Hearts, she gave us quite the surprise when she welcomed twins into the world! We knew there was a possibility that some of the goats from the group could be pregnant, but Fable had done an excellent job of hiding her condition, and the arrival of Phineas and Ditto certainly caught us off guard.

We suspect this little family's previous life involved very little human interaction, as the group arrived extremely nervous and wary of people. Fable in particular was quite spooky and preferred to keep her distance. Over time, however, she has learned that humans aren't so bad after all, especially if they're carrying snacks. These days she'll happily accept treats and browse offerings and is becoming more comfortable around her carers.

Having been born in care, Phineas and Ditto have grown up with a much more positive view of humans. They're curious, friendly youngsters who can be gently snuggled and handled without causing much concern from their mum. Watching them explore the world with confidence while helping Fable learn to trust has been a joy.

As rangeland goats, this family will need a home with excellent fencing. Fable still has a bit of an adventurous streak and has the potential to test any fencing that isn't up to scratch. Prospective adopters should be prepared to provide secure enclosures and understand that goats are incredibly clever, athletic animals.

Fable and her twins would love nothing more than to be adopted with Blacksong and her son Bam Bam and they will draw confidence from each other - especially as Blacksong is so food motivated!

All three are up to date with vaccinations, worming, and lice treatments and are ready to find a forever home together.

**Please note:** Goats require secure fencing, reliable shelter from the elements (goats absolutely hate rain!), and access to plenty of roughage and browse to keep them healthy and happy.
