Meet Chief 🫏🤎

Chief is a gentle, thoughtful donkey who is slowly learning the joys of human companionship. Coming from a background with very little handling, his journey has been all about patience, consistency, and building trust, and he continues to blossom with every kind interaction.

With calm, confident handling, Chief is becoming more curious and willing to engage, showing a quiet eagerness to learn. While he can still be a little unsure with lifting his feet, consistent care and gentle guidance are helping him make steady progress.

Chief is up to date with worming and on a regular 6–8 week hoof trimming schedule. He has also had his first equine dental, behaved beautifully, and has no dental issues.

🫏 What Chief needs:
• A home with other donkey companions (donkeys are highly social and must live with others)
• Gentle, consistent handling to continue building confidence
• A calm, understanding environment where he can continue to grow
• Plenty of love and a little spoiling is always appreciated
