🐴 Meet Castiel & Mischief – A Bonded Pair of Curious, Charming Donkeys Looking for Their Forever Home! 🐴

Castiel and Mischief are two 6-year-old donkeys who have overcome a rough start to life and are now ready to find a loving home—together. These sweet boys came to us from a pound after being surrendered due to the lack of fencing on their previous property. When they arrived, their feet were extremely overgrown, having never been seen by a farrier. They were unhandled, uncastrated, and understandably unsure of the world.

Fast forward to today, and this delightful duo has made incredible progress.

🌟 Castiel
True to his name, Castiel is an angel! He warmed up to people very quickly and now thrives on human interaction. He picks up his feet beautifully, enjoys a good scratch, and is always curious to see what you're up to. Calm, gentle, and affectionate, Castiel has blossomed into a confident companion.

🌟 Mischief
Mischief lives up to his cheeky name—but in the best way. While he started off more anxious, especially around his hind feet, he has made huge strides since arriving and continues to grow in trust and confidence. He still needs a little patience when it comes to his back legs, but he’s getting there, and his progress has been heartwarming to watch.

Both boys are now castrated, have had their feet professionally corrected, are on a regular trimming schedule, and have been seen by a dentist. They’ve come a long way, and we are so proud of them!

💞 Bonded for Life
These boys are inseparable—where one goes, the other follows. They are always side by side, whether they’re watching the world go by, calling out excitedly when they spot us coming, or simply enjoying their time in the paddock. Their bond is unbreakable, and they must be adopted together.

Castiel and Mischief are looking for a home with someone who will continue their handling and gentle care. In return, you’ll be rewarded with two curious, loving, and entertaining companions who are a joy to be around.
