Butterbean

Butterbean (or Butters), is a gelding from a rural pound with no history - just a sweet, cautious personality.

Since being in care, he's coming out of his shell and enjoying the company of his new equine friends. He has shown no malice but can be a little shy with fast or scary handling. He loaded with very little persuasion at the pound and has since had a couple of hoof trims that he was an angel for.

He arrived quite overweight, a common trait in these little fellas! He's since lost some weight after being on a controlled diet and his new home will need to understand or be willing to learn how to care for overweight ponies.

To our knowledge he has not foundered however, with no history, we cannot be sure. He has behaved perfectly around young children but given his nervousness, children should always be supervised. In no time at all, we expect Butters will thoroughly enjoy being pampered and groomed by some small, adoring humans!

Butters needs a home that will:
- monitor his weight throughout his life
- keep him on a regular trimming cycle - mini ponies are often overlooked for regular trimming!
- safe paddocks and shelter
- endless love and maybe some low calorie snacks!

Up to date with farrier, worming and pending a dental exam.
